The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in the development of software for peer-to-peer networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions to meet our clients' needs, as well as managing the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.

Who you are

• At least 5 years of experience in software development preferably with experience in peer-to-peer networks such as chat servers, SIP telephony, video conferencing, gaming, file sharing, etc
• Proficient in programming languages in either Java or Rust and javascript
• Be able to demonstrate previous work deployed live or on localhost
• Experience with distributed systems and network protocols
• Based in UK, or happy to relocate
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers

• Design and develop peer-to-peer network software solutions
• Manage the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment
• Develop and maintain software documentation
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet client needs
• Provide technical leadership to junior developers
