Key responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and oversee intellectual property strategies and budgets.- Provide strategic legal advice on licensing, IP, commercial and related topics.- Evaluate inventions and work with external IP counsel to file for appropriate protection (patents, copyrights, trademarks).- Generate IP landscapes; identify market opportunities.- Identify and implement defensible technology within the organization.- Develop IP protection strategies in JDAs and implement them.- Advise, negotiate, and draft collaboration and sponsored research agreements.- Maintain CPI docket to track filing obligations for the entire IP portfolio.- Establish and maintain contacts with patent counsel; stay abreast of developments.Requirements:- 10+ years of experience in Intellectual Property.- Operational experience in a high growth startup or similar.- Problem-solver with strong analytical/quantitative capabilities.- Excellent project management and communication skills.To apply: send your CV and portfolio to agnes@aukilabs.com or use the contact us form (Apply).
