Key responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of highly complex applications, components, software platforms, and services.- Oversee the implementation of advanced data models, data marts, and data flows.- Establish technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for the engineering team.- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the entire engineering department.- Oversee all outsourced engineering activities and manage third-party providers.- Ensure high-quality deliverables from external partners within budget.- Develop and maintain an engineering roadmap aligned with business objectives.- Monitor progress, remove obstacles, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet desired outcomes.- Identify opportunities for process optimization, tool enhancements, and innovation.- Track KPIs; implement data-driven decision-making; ensure scalable, reliable solutions.Requirements:- Relevant Bachelor’s degree and extensive game industry experience.- Experience working cross-functionally (engineering, product, marketing).- Strong experience managing, leading, and coaching Software Engineering teams.- Excellent communication skills.- Strong management skills across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment (startup or growth business preferred).To apply: send your CV and portfolio to agnes@aukilabs.com or use the contact us form (Apply).
