We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning, Python, and GCP to build innovative solutions that optimize leverage and manage risk in the rapidly evolving world of decentralized finance (DeFi).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models to optimize leverage and manage risk in DeFi lending and borrowing.
  • Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to design and integrate ML models into Lucidity Finance's platform.
  • Analyze and preprocess large-scale DeFi datasets for model training and evaluation.
  • Build scalable and reusable ML pipelines using Python and GCP.
  • Implement testing-oriented development practices to ensure the robustness and reliability of models.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in machine learning and decentralized finance.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning models to optimize market variables like APYS, LTV, asset liquidity, and risk assessment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in machine learning and decentralized finance.
  • Collaborate across time zones with a global team to refine and evolve the discovery engine.
  • Optimize existing models and algorithms to enhance performance and reduce latency.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure secure and compliant data management across protocols and networks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Proven experience in deploying ML models using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Solid understanding of DeFi protocols and the blockchain ecosystem.
  • Prior experience applying machine learning techniques in the DeFi space is highly preferred.
  • Testing-oriented development mindset with a strong focus on model robustness and reliability.
  • Knowledge of account abstraction and securely managing positions across protocols and networks is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

About Lucidity:

We are the first Machine Learning-powered leverage liquidity layer. Leverage landscape is one of the biggest and most fragmented ecosystems within DeFi, with multiple stakeholders like Lending/CDP protocols. Yield aggregators, vaults, risk curators, end users, etc. engaging in a 1-1 fashion. Lucidity’s goal is to create a cohesive on-chain collaboration economy for all these stakeholders, powered by the flagship discovery engine. The engine runs on realtime data to allow users/protocols discover optimal leverage sources by making risk assessment more palatable.
