Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and self-directed Front End Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and build best-in-class solutions for global entrepreneurs to access credit.

This role will require strong leadership capabilities as you will be leading the front-end team and setting up key processes and standards. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the interfaces for both borrowers and lenders. We are looking for someone eager to grow with us and make a lasting impact on our company and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the front-end development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with Design Lead and Product team to develop and maintain our dApp used to access loans.
• Set up and enforce coding standards and review processes to maintain code quality and scalability.
• Work with the Front-End team to deliver and maintain aesthetic, fast and data-intensive dashboards to provide liquidity providers unparalleled transparency into their portfolios.
• Maintain and update Haraka website.
• Drive the adoption of new front-end technologies and frameworks to enhance our development process.
• Ensure cross-functional coordination with other departments to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Building our custom UI component library.

• You have 5+ years of JavaScript experience in a production environment.
• You have experience with building performant and user-friendly web applications.
• You are an expert at TypeScript and Next.js frameworks.
• You have a solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals.
• You have 2+ years of Web3 development experience.
• You have proven experience in a leadership role within a front-end development team.
• You have a deep understanding of UI/UX processes
